Farmhouse Bed and Breakfast

Bed and Breakfast is offered in the Farmhouse, in 3 individually furnished double rooms, and guests have the use of a sunny conservatory. A hearty breakfast – cooked on our Aga – is served in the spacious Farmhouse kitchen.

Built in the 18th century as a bothy, the house was a working farm until a decade ago and is full of character. The name SOILZARIE (pronounced Sollarry) is derived from the Gaelic “Soillearaidh” meaning “light place”.

Our three double bedrooms are individually styled with king sized beds and have either ensuite or private facilities.

Breakfast is served in the large, cosy farmhouse kitchen and where possible we use locally sourced produce of the highest quality.

Choose from a hearty full Scottish breakfast or a lighter option or try a bowl of “proper” oatmeal porridge for a healthy start to a day’s hill-walking or sight-seeing.

At the end of the day, unwind and relax in our warm south facing conservatory furnished with comfy sofas, reading material and T.V.

Private car parking is available for all guest cars.
We are open all year except Christmas.
Mains of Soilzarie is non-smoking throughout.
We regret we are unable to accept dogs in the farmhouse.
